I am currently studying at college and live at Stonham's Brook House young people's accommodation service in Ilkeston.

I would love to be in charge of the United Kingdom and have all that power to change lives for the better.

One of the first things I would do is to increase spending on public areas such as parks and community open spaces. We should provide well-kept outdoor spaces for people to use. I believe this would encourage people to develop healthier lifestyles.

I would give more support to organisations such as Stonham, which help young people to live more fulfilling lives.

Through my own negative experience with the NHS I would make it a priority that hospitals and medical services improved the way they communicate with each other. Too many files go missing, too many appointments are cancelled without the patient knowing and all this happens in an age when communication technology is getting better and better.
