Having a mobile phone offers security. It is a practical tool in case of emergencies as well as providing the means to chat and keep in touch with friends.
YOUR PHONE AND YOUR CAR
It is now an offence to use a handheld mobile while driving. The DETR Working Environment Commission has issued advice concerning the use of mobiles in cars:
- Never use a hand-held mobile while driving.
- Not attending to the road properly can result in prosecution for careless or even dangerous driving.
- If you must make a call, find a safe place and pull over.
