The National Youth Agency: Youth justice expert retires after 11 years

Pete Loewenstein, The National Youth Agency's senior development officer for Youth Justice and Community Safety, retired last week after 11 years at the agency.

In that time, Loewenstein has fulfilled a number of different roles and has become widely respected in his field, not just for his achievements, but for his integrity and determination to make real change happen.

Speaking at his retirement presentation, Loewenstein said: "It has been wonderful to work here for so long and in so many different capacities.

"I urge all my colleagues at The NYA to stand together, and always to remember that the work we do makes genuine and positive change."
