The National Youth Agency: NYA youth justice development officer retires

After 11 years at The National Youth Agency, Pete Loewenstein is retiring from his role as senior development officer for Youth Justice and Community Safety.

Loewenstein has been at the forefront of a wide range of groundbreaking initiatives at The NYA in a time he described as "eventful and enjoyable".

The Agency has already recruited a successor to the post. Graham Fletcher has vast experience of youth justice issues, and in his most recent role at Birmingham City Council was responsible for managing the largest youth offending service in England. Complementing this professional expertise, Fletcher has a real enthusiasm for and understanding of the role played by youth work within the youth justice agenda.

He officially takes up his post on Monday 7 April.
