The National Youth Agency: Youth coalition sets out manifesto

1 min read
The National Youth Agency (NYA) is one of the leading national youth organisations behind the Coalition for Young People, which has now launched a manifesto for young people setting out demands to the main political parties.

The manifesto calls for "great places for young people to go and great things to do, the opportunity for young people to be able to make the most of the facilities on offer." These include subsidised public transport for under-18s, for young people to flourish and get the most from their education and for help and support when needed.

It also wants to see more young people involved in decision making, great people to work with and inspire the young, action to prevent vulnerable young people from getting involved in crime and work to ensure government policies work for and not against young people.
