The manifesto, Putting Young People First, says that young people are a number one priority and sets out a number of demands for all political parties to consider and act on. The NYA will be using these at the forthcoming round of party political conferences this autumn, alongside coalition partners which include 4Children, UK Youth, National Children's Bureau, NCVYS, Clubs for Young People and UK Youth Parliament.
Among the demands are:
- We want great places for young people to go and great things to do
- We want young people to be able to make the most of facilities on offer
- We want young people to flourish - to get the most from their education and wider learning - in school, in their youth centre and at home
