The National Youth Agency: Youth Access pilot course to supportworking with difference and diversity

1 min read

The course is aimed at casework supervisors who are interested in developing their skills, knowledge, understanding and confidence in supervising and supporting frontline staff. It will build on awareness and understanding of issues where elements such as conflict, entrenched hostility, complex attitudes and behaviours arising from difference and diversity are acting as barriers to young people's development and participation. It will also explore anti-discriminatory supervision frameworks and will examine current practice in the light of recent legislation.

Further details about the course are available by contacting Sue Lee at Youth Access. Telephone: 020 8772 9900 Ext 28. Email: sue@youthaccess.org.uk.
