The National Youth Agency: Young Muslims' Advisory Group

The Muslim Youthwork Foundation is looking for 20 inspiring and ambitious young Muslims, male and female, who can collectively reflect the diversity of the country's Muslim communities to become members of the Young Muslims' Advisory Group (YMAG).

Advisory Group members will have training provided by leading figures and experts from specialist fields, will get to speak directly to the government on issues they believe are important and will have the chance to influence policies affecting the lives of young Muslims. Applicants will attend a free three-day residential on 27-29 August 2008, culminating in 20 individuals being selected as members of YMAG. Applicants must be aged between 16 and 21.
