The situation: Eastleigh Borough Youth Council (EBYC) decided that it wanted to do something visible to prove that young people can make changes. There had long been a need for a local dance night in the area but previous attempts had met with little success. EBYC wanted to start a regular dance night that would be a success from young people's point of view.
