The conference includes presentations by Action with Communities in Rural England and The Countryside Agency about their work and current developments in the rural sector and will give delegates the opportunity to network and to take part in a variety of workshops.
Workshop themes include accessing funds from grant-giving trusts and other sources, innovative youth work programmes in rural areas and exploring experiences of resourcing and funding work with young people. In addition to this, the conference will give delegates the opportunity to see how their own work with young people in rural areas fits into the picture and to identify how Rural Youth Network should be developed in the future to best support their work.
