The National Youth Agency: Rural Youth Network to host summerconference on resourcing rural work

This two-day conference, to be held on 7-8 July at Loughborough University, will include presentations by ACRE and The Countryside Agency on their work and developments in the rural sector. It will give delegates a chance to network and take part in workshops, including:

- Making Connexions in rural areas - Brendan Loughran, chief executive of Suffolk Connexions, will lead a discussion on how Connexions can operate more effectively in rural areas.

- Beyond the city walls - an exploration of youth work in rural Bradford facilitated by Bradford's principal youth officer, Chris Whiley.

- Action in rural Sussex - Colin Anderson will provide a workshop that highlights how a rural development organisation works with young people.
