THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: Rural youth needed for conference

The National Forum for the Development of Rural Youth Work (shortly to be relaunched as Rural Youth) is seeking to commission rural youth groups to design and present one-hour workshops on their experiences of living in the countryside for a major conference. The move is part of a long-term strategy for involving young people in the organisation and it is offering funding of 500 to successful applicants.

The rural youth conference will be held at the Birmingham Hippodrome on Wednesday 19 November. Groups working with young people aged between 13 and 19 that would like to participate can contact Sarah Hope at nfdryw@nya.org.uk or telephone 0116 285 3785 for an application form.
