At the meeting in November the team had a brief taster of the five stage journey of Act by Right.
Ali Dean, youth development advisor for YMCA England, said: "We need commitment to embed young people's participation, not as a luxury, but as an imperative in our organisation and in supporting them where they live. My vision is that every project in the YMCA has the Act by Right resource and it does not sit on the shelf but, as a youth movement, it is used to equip young people in partnership to help make change happen."
