The National Youth Agency: Act by Right - developing decision-makingskills

1 min read
Places are still available in a series of regional Act by Right workshops being run by The NYA throughout November, December and January.

Act by Right is the unique skills programme developed for children and young people by children and young people.

Harry Wade, active involvement team manager, explained its usefulness:

"By using Act by Right children and young people can develop their decision-making and participation skills to help them contribute fully in the Youth Opportunity Fund, in citizenship education, in local area agreements and children's trusts, and in neighbourhood renewal."

He added: "They can pick up accreditation along the way if they want to."

Prices are from 45 per delegate, with children and young people welcome.

Places are still available at workshops in Exeter, Durham, Leeds, London, Manchester and Cambridge.

For more details, contact Sara Dickinson, events co-ordinator, on 0116 242 7501 or email sarad@nya.org.uk.
