The National Youth Agency: Providing ideas and inspiration for young people taking action locally

1 min read
The latest issue of YouthAction, The National Youth Agency's (NYA) magazine showcasing young people taking action in their communities, is out now.

Published to coincide with the run-up to Volunteers Week from 1 to 7 June it again highlights the range of activities young people up and down the country are giving their time to, making a difference in their communities.

Joint editor Kerry Harrison said: "The examples in YouthAction show that volunteering is open to everyone, whatever their background and interests, and however much or little time they have to give."

Angela Mulvehill, joint editor, added: "We hope young people enjoy reading about the experiences of young volunteers and that the magazine helps to generate ideas for new projects. If you're new to volunteering we hope these stories will inspire you to take the plunge and get involved. If you're looking for inspiration, resources, recognition or support it's all in YouthAction."
