The National Youth Agency: Young people reaching out and taking action in their communities

The autumn/winter issue of YouthAction, published to coincide with this year's Youth Work Week, again features a range of positive and heartwarming stories on the actions young people are taking in their communities on issues that are important to them.

Joint editor Kerry Harrison said: "We hope YouthAction can continue to be used by workers and young people to help generate ideas for new projects and raise awareness about the different ways young people can take action in their community."

Girl Guides, young researchers, football coaching and community radio feature among the stories, alongside listings of organisations to help young people find out about volunteering and a list of forthcoming events and initiatives to help get young people started.
