The National Youth Agency: Opportunities open for NYA senior roles

1 min read

The head of development programmes will lead, shape, deliver and embed a broad range of multi-partner programmes and projects, ensuring their potential is unlocked for the widest possible audience.

Supporting national experts in areas such as health, volunteering, community cohesion and learning, the successful applicant will trial new ways of working and ensure project teams have the right skills and tools to achieve high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead funding bids, have experience of the voluntary and community sectors, and be able to empathise with everyone from government to young people themselves.

The NYA also wishes to recruit a head of policy, a role that will orchestrate debate within The Agency on developing new policy while simultaneously building relationships with government agencies, politicians and the media to position The NYA, promote its capabilities and ensure its influence where it counts.
