The National Youth Agency: Open Weekend begins on a high

2 mins read
An extensive programme of activities marked the first Open Weekend recently, with youth services the length and breadth of the country successfully rising to the challenge to provide young people with access to things to do when they most want and need them.

Councillor Graham Wright, cabinet member for children's and family services, said: "Open Weekend provided a great opportunity to highlight the range of activities and provision for young people in Knowsley, which are all part of an ongoing youth programme. There really is so much going on throughout the year that there's no reason for youngsters to be short of something positive to do."
