Young researchers will put questions to a distinguished panel comprising Bernard Davies, whose definitive history of youth work under New Labour will be published soon by The NYA; Kanchan Gadega, from the Government Office, East Midlands; Paul Amann, from Liverpool City Council; Sheila Lock, chief executive at Leicester City Council; and Heather Stevens, programmes director at The NYA.
The event takes place on Thursday 27 March at The NYA and will involve all 15 of The NYA's partner research projects, who are looking into topics as diverse as guns, gangs and knives; citizenship; lifelong learning and employment for young disabled people; positive activities; antisocial behaviour and media representation of young people; sexual health and South Asian female diet and body image. Anyone with a burning question they would like the researchers to put to the panel can leave a comment on the YRN blog at http://blogs.nya.org.uk/yrn/
