THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: New group to look at quality

1 min read

The group will provide a forum for the discussion of quality issues in youth work, including standards, targets, performance indicators, kitemarking and quality assurance processes.

Other areas the group will look at include providing advice and feedback to bodies on quality matters, sharing information and good practice and assisting in the development of consistent and integrated approaches to quality in youth work.

Membership will initially consist of representatives from statutory youth services, voluntary youth organisations, the Department for Education and Skills, Ofsted, professional associations and The National Youth Agency, although other representatives may be invited to attend as appropriate. The group will link with the work of the Transforming Youth Work National Advisory Group.
