The National Youth Agency: Launch of the young people's workforce reform programme

1 min read
An important new chapter for the young people's workforce and those it serves will open this week as children's minister Dawn Primarolo officially unveils the Young People's Workforce Reform Programme.

Jointly hosted by the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC), the Children's Workforce Network and partners including the National Youth Agency (NYA), the event is a unique opportunity for those who work with young people to find out more about an ambitious series of reforms that will develop and unite the workforce, and help secure brighter futures for young people.

Primarolo will address some 300 leaders and managers from across the young people's workforce at the event at Queen Elizabeth II Hall in London on Thursday 5 November.

The day will serve as an introduction to the programme and act as a forum for debate and discussion, with a Question Time-style session offering opportunities to pose questions to a panel made up of the CWDC, workforce representatives and young people. Hearing young people's voices will be an important theme for the day.
