The National Youth Agency: Influencing the movers and shakers in health

Young people in Portsmouth questioned resource holders about current and future health services at an event held in the city's Liquid and Envy nightclub this week.

The event - Influencing the Movers and Shakers - was organised by young people from a number of youth and school groups who have been looking at what's on offer in the city, and how relevant it is.

The Sorted Group hosted by the Motiv8 Project and funded by the PCT's Adolescent Health Development Site, has produced a DVD, a rap song (cover shown below) and a dance performance to illustrate its points to a range of key people who fund, deliver or control services locally.

The event was funded through the Department of Health's Section 64 grant scheme.
