THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: Getting Connected web site gets newsections as part of a major overhaul

1 min read

Passwords are no longer required to access to any part of the site and navigation from section to section has been made more straightforward.

The 19 sections now include:

- An introduction to Getting Connected

- Listings of events

- Details of training courses

- Guidance on accreditation

- Dates of moderation meetings

- Useful resources.

In addition, the Discussion Forum provides an opportunity for mentors and young learners to participate in online discussions with others involved with the programme.

Stephen Foster, programme manager of Getting Connected, said: "We know that the site is extremely useful for everyone involved with the programme. We are keen to ensure that practitioners - wherever they are in England or Wales - have a readily accessible point of contact with the programme. The new site provides such a link."
