Published by the Young Adult Learners Partnership, the booklet provides practitioners with step-by-step guidance through the entire assessment, moderation and accreditation process.
Sections include "What is assessment?", "To accredit or not to accredit?", "The roles of main players in the accreditation process", and "Evidence".
The internal and external moderation processes are explained in detail.
Also included is the latest version of the Internal Moderation Form, the only paperwork practitioners are required to submit when entering evidence for accreditation. This form may be photocopied for use by purchasing centres.
Stephen Foster, Getting Connected programme manager, says the booklet will be a useful tool for practitioners.
