The National Youth Agency: Event will tackle social inclusion of rural youth

In light of the recent published information regarding the rate of rural youth out-migration, a national conference aims to highlight the contribution young people can make to rural communities, through community planning, participation and empowerment.

"Young people making a difference - the social inclusion of rural youth" takes place at the Novotel East Midlands Hotel on Thursday 25 September and is being delivered by Rural Youth Network and sponsored by the Commission for Rural Communities.

The objectives of the conference are to demonstrate that young people's participation has made a difference, and to highlight and share good practice. For further details, or to book a place, go to the Rural Youth Network page of the NYA website.
