The National Youth Agency: Combating the social exclusion of rural youth

The latest conference from the Rural Youth Network aims to highlight the contribution young people can make to rural communities through community planning, participation and empowerment.

It will provide a platform to share good practice. Contributions willlook at transport, housing, health NEET into EET and volunteering,demonstrating that young people's participation has made adifference.

Participating organisations include Young Devon, Connexions Cumbria, theEast Riding of Yorkshire Youth Assembly, The National Youth Agency,Surrey Community Action and the Commission for Rural Communities.
