The National Youth Agency: Rural Youth Network looking for trustees

The Rural Youth Network, the specialist charity promoting the inclusion of young people in rural areas, is on the lookout for people with skills and experience to serve as trustees on its executive management committee.

Based at the National Youth Agency offices in Leicester, the Rural Youth Network offers expertise in specialist support and information around work with children and young people in rural areas of England.

It brings together over 650 statutory, voluntary and community groups and organisations and delivers an annual conference to share best practice.

On the basis of a recent skills audit, Rural Youth Network would particularly welcome people with skills, knowledge or experience of audit and financial matters; fundraising, PR and marketing; implementation of Every Child Matters in a rural context; or a working knowledge of integrated youth support services in a rural area.
