The Die is Cast: Bexley holds Fit for Play event to mark NationalPlayday

Three-year-old James Mander throws a giant dice for a supersized game of Snakes and Ladders with friend Charlie Dade, also three, at the Fit for Fun event in the London Borough of Bexley.

The event, held to mark National Playday, was held in the borough'sDanson Park and was organised by the council's early years team.

As well as Snakes and Ladders the event offered children bouncy castles,go-karts and circus skills tuition. The Fit for Fun event was designedto fit in with Bexley's chosen theme for National Playday - stayinghealthy.
