The mapping study, which is being carried out for the Home Office, aims to identify the existence of services to inform future policy development.
Rosie Brocklehurst, director of communications at Addaction, told the YPN Foundation's national conference last week: "We don't yet have a clear picture of just how many services exist for young people." She added that there was a particular need for more Tier 4 services, aimed at young people with a high level of need.
