StreetGames helps Plymouth sports

Youth Work
Plymouth City Youth Service is taking part in an initiative to make sport more accessible to disadvantaged young people.

The council is partnering up with StreetGames, a national charity that develops sport in areas where provision is limited.

The youth service currently has five StreetGames schemes operating across the city and has pledged to increase involvement during the summer.

Dave Haq, senior youth officer, said: "As a service, we are using StreetGames to increase weekend activities for young people. So far we are extremely pleased by the young people's response."
