Young English footballers will be hoping to succeed where David Beckham and co failed when they take part in the Youth World Cup this week.
Two youth groups on the south coast have joined forces to represent England at the event in Gothenburg, Sweden, which features 30,000 young people from 113 countries.
The Crew Club, from Brighton's Whitehawk estate, and Hove YMCA have combined their six-a-side teams to create an 11-a-side outfit.
Darren Snow, manager of the Crew Club youth project, said: "Most of them have never been abroad before, so it will be a great experience for them."
