I was placed in care when I was two and was in and out of foster homes and children's homes. I have probably been to about 15 schools.

I first found my feet when I was about 16. I went to Lambeth College and started studying engineering, but I didn't really like it.

My cousin was a computer science graduate so I went back to college to study IT. I started achieving Distinction grades and began to have belief in myself.

As well as studying I got involved in community activities, becoming president of the college. Then I was asked if I wanted to be involved in a new programme the council was launching offering paid experience to students. I applied and got a position in the IT department and since then things have gone really well for me.
