12% of looked-after children with three or more placements in 2005/2006 (12 per cent in England)

60% of looked-after children achieved at least one GCSE at grade A* to G at 30 September 2007 (63.7 per cent in England)

87% of looked-after children had their teeth checked by a dentist at 30 September 2007 (85.8 per cent in England)

61% of looked-after children had an annual health assessment at 30 September 2007 (84.4 per cent in England)

In November 2007, Ofsted said: "A number of sound initiatives have been taken to improve quality assurance processes in social care."
