The draft strategy focuses on the need to raise awareness among policeand immigration officials.
But Nushra Mapstone, professional officer at the association, said: "Weare concerned that if the focus is not widened to incorporate otherprofessionals, such as social workers, the work that needs to be done toimprove the identification of people being trafficked will belimited."
Providing social workers with a good-practice manual on childtrafficking would help, she added.
