The project is being funded by the Department for Education and Skillsand will run for the next three years, helping around 240 looked-afterchildren in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Southwark and York.
The focus is to improve education support for looked-after children aswell as their carers, particularly during the move from primary tosecondary school.
A spokeswoman for the charity said: "We chose these areas because we arealready active there. Helping with the transition between primary andsecondary schools is particularly important."
