SkillsActive provides training support through nine centres. But from 5May it will strip back coverage to three "super regions" covering thenorth, the midlands and the south of England.
After the government slashed its annual grant to SkillsActive by a thirdearlier this year, the organisation revealed plans to reduce centres tosix, but that figure has now been halved.
Chris Martin, SkillsActive's national programme manager, said noredundancies have been made.
