SKILLS: Fairbridge to run course with Barclays

The bank has given 19,500 to Fairbridge West to fund the BA Better U programme and will provide IT and training facilities at its hi-tech campus in Bristol. After each course, young people will be given the chance to do work experience at the bank.

The project will run initially for one year. Its focus is "employability", so Fairbridge will help with CVs, planning and interview skills.
