LIFE SKILLS: Young Scots to learn from Big Brother

For five days this week, seven young people aged 15 to 23 from Fairbridge's centres in Scotland are competing in daily tasks, earning points and sharing experiences in a diary room.

The project is part of Fairbridge's Clued Up! range of courses, run in partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Jason Cummings, manager of Fairbridge in Dundee, said: "It's an ideal practice run for real life and one that would test the limits of many adults. Many young people we work with have led chaotic and fragmented lives and may not have the coping mechanisms or knowledge that others take for granted."
