Singing for freedom: Concert marks abolition of slavery

The Brent School Junior Choir perform a choral arrangement of jazz song I Wish I Knew How it Would Feel to be Free to mark 200 years since the abolition of Britain's slave trade. The performance of the Billy Taylor song took place last week in Parliament's Westminster Hall and saw the choir of eight- to 13-year-olds team up with Youth Music's National Youth Choir. The chief secretary to the Treasury Stephen Timms and Trevor Phillips, chair of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, were among those who attended the performance.
