SEXUAL HEALTH: HIV testing centre to open in London

The charity has received around 12,000 from the King's Fund to develop the project and is seeking further support.

Clint Walters, founder of HIFY-UK, said: "The current HIV testing methods involve a two- or three-week wait for results, and there are already huge demands on sexual health clinics, which puts young people off."

The HIFY-UK clinic will run a drop-in centre on Saturdays between 12pm and 4pm, with one-hour testing available. Young people can also talk to trained peer counsellors if they want to share their experiences.

The charity is yet to decide on the location of the clinic.
