Scotland: Voluntary projects receive 1.5m boost

The Scottish Government will give 1.5m to voluntary sector youth projects over the next three years.

The grants will amount to £500,000 a year, and will be allocated through the youth work agency YouthLink Scotland. The fund continues the work of the Voluntary Organisations Support Fund - a one-off package delivered as part of the Youth Work Strategy Year of Action.

Organisations to benefit from this money include the Scouts and YMCA Scotland.
