Scotland: Meadow review in hands of Executive

The Scottish Executive has yet to decide if it will publish results of a review into child protection cases potentially influenced by Professor Sir Roy Meadow's discredited Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy theory.

The Executive has been passed the findings of a review by the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration, but it said it was now considering its next steps, including whether or not to release the results.

There are also calls for an independent review of cases in Scotland, echoing those made in England.
