Since science is becoming increasingly important in society, the next generation must have the best possible education in this field.
Alongside this consultation the group will also use a series of workshops, focus groups and school visits to establish perceptions of current achievement and progression in science education, from the science and education communities and young people themselves. It is hoping to highlight both existing good practice and gaps in the current provision of science education.
The results are due to be published by the end of this year.
Closing date: 18 September.
