Salisbury teens set up youth hub

Teenagers in Salisbury have set up their own social enterprise to help local young people find out what's happening in the area.

Young people have taken over a high street shop where their peers can find out information, use the internet, and promote their own events. Called The Unit, it will also run a range of events, including music and comic book workshops.

Lottie Mortimer Talman, member for the youth committee, said: "All the adults we have spoken to say they wish they'd had something like this when they were young. We are determined to make this a success."
