Resources: Review - An unusual source of inspiration

1 min read
When I first got hold of this book it was intended for my niece who was going on a gap year to South Korea to teach English. However, as soon as I saw it I realised it was full of materials that I could use in my own classes as a lecturer in childcare.

Although the book is not specifically related to my subject area, it isfull of photocopiable activities to challenge and engage those aged 14to 18.

Since it is designed for those studying to teach English for speakers ofother languages it contains materials that would be suitable for a rangeof children with English as a second language or literacy needs, and themethodology notes are full of tips from someone who clearly enjoys itwhen his students enjoy their classes.

The creative ideas include opportunities for students to act out a textthey have read, which could be adapted for other classes.

The title of the book, No Limits - Unlimited, gives away the fact thatthe book includes a wide variety of ideas that can actually be adaptedinto all sorts of situations and settings, and also includes high-levelreading texts, which my students would relate to.
