A trip is so rich with potential for experiential learning that it would be an act of educationally criminal negligence to waste it. Start by talking through destination options. It doesn't have to be a crude vote. Consider a process of mutual understanding leading to a consensus through compromise and imaginative synchronisations. Or just throw a dice. Then there is the budgeting, the booking, the transport, the meals, the entry fees ... From phoning and fact-finding on the internet, to planning the route on a map, there's plenty for everyone to do and learn from.
