What is contact? A guide for children

This book describes what contact means for children who aren't living with their birth family. It talks about how children can maintain contact using different means of communication such as email, text message, or letters, and also discusses how the courts make contact orders. The book uses case studies to illustrate how contact works in different family situations.

- Junior Exec - A range of information about the Scottish Executive is brought together in a child-friendly format on this new web site. As well as providing information on issues such as law and order, culture, the environment and health, the site also aims to encourage children to get more out of life through creative activities such as book writing and film making. It features its own virtual presenter, Seonaid, who will answer questions posed by young people, and also has a zone for parents and teachers.
