FIGHTING FAT THE FUN WAY This resource pack for youth leaders has been developed in partnership between the National Association of Clubs for Young People and Sport England in a bid to cut obesity in teenagers.

It features 30 laminated cards that explain how to engage with 11- to 16-year-olds through creative physical activity, and comes with a 60 page handbook. It also provides information on key contacts in the sports sector and guidelines on where to get funding.

KEEPING A CLEAR HEAD

The drug misuse prevention charity Mentor UK says the recent debate on cannabis has only touched on its harmful effects, so it has produced this leaflet to present the facts.

Supported by the Home Office, Hayzy Dayz talks about the health problems from smoking cannabis with tobacco, such as bronchitis, cancer and heart problems. It's in a strip-cartoon format and depicts a "big cannabis talk" between parents and their teenage children.
