How Places Work: Teachers' Resource Pack - This looks at an architectural education project from the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. As part of the scheme, children are taken around unusual buildings that they could not normally visit by renowned architects. The teachers' pack includes handouts, tips on how to link the scheme to the curriculum and ideas for projects. Schools pay 100 towards the cost of the visit.

Someone to Turn to: Safeguarding Children and Young People - Someone toTurn to is a 21-module programme that forms part of a City & GuildsLevel Three Certificate in Safeguarding Children and Young People. Itincludes historical attitudes to child abuse, what to do if you suspectchild abuse, working with parents, assessing needs and legislation. Eachof the six groups of modules has a questionnaire that is sent back toEduCare for marking. The course is expected to take about sixmonths.
