This Broadcasting Services Commission study is one of the first to focus on how 10- to 14-year-olds interpret and respond to pre-9pm watershed sexual content. It involved a questionnaire survey of some 800 young people and interviews with 120. The big picture is that this age group likes learning about relationships through media because it is often attuned to their needs.

This CD-Rom aims to get young people of 12 and over thinking about mental health, and how to identify and deal with stress. Aimed at school and youth work, it uses games and interactive video to provide information on dealing with the stresses of exams, friends and bullying. It includes free lesson plans and worksheets can be downloaded by registering on the Rural Media Company web site.
